2026 Here We Come!
Nearly 15 years now shooting high-end real estate on top of a decade plus shooting / assisting products from HotWheels and Barbie to diamond rings, blenders and bedspreads. From large format “4x5” studio film cameras to high megapixel digital marvels. It’s always an exciting challenge.
For ‘26 I’m looking to hold my pricing as tight as possible. A small “cost of living” bump of 3.7% will however be seen beginning Q2 2026 for most of my projects. That said, I’m also going to be adding some visual marketing items for my real estate clients including digital video walkthrough videos. I’ve had some call for this over the recent years, and recently invested in upgrading my DSLR video gear including stabilized gimbal camera mount systems. Editing continues to be done with DaVinci Resolve and final reels delivered in 30-120sec clips.
Drone stills and video continue to be available via my FAA licensed and insured contractor. Many times I’m asked if this is necessary, licensing and insurance? Well first off it is required. Professional work (paid) done using a drone requires a licensed pilot. And insurance is something I know I wouldn’t fly without. Flying over cars and around buildings would be foolish without it.
I’ll of course continue to shoot smaller (sub 1200sqft) projects such as condos and the like, but am beginning to focus on larger and more new / newly remodeled properties. This includes newly constructed properties for builders and architects.
So, let’s see what 2026 brings us! Every years has been exciting, and I’m pretty sure the next one won’t disappoint.

Small Can Be BIG
A fun and SUPER clean space recently photographed. Be sure to spend the few extra minutes to assure a property is ready, “ready for its closeup!”. While professional photography can capture a space in its “best light”, having a listing ready really is what makes things happen - quickly, and with the best results. Venmo and Zelle
Accounting, invoicing, and sitting behind a spreadsheet is not what I want to be doing, and I'm pretty sure it isn't what you want to be doing. Producing the images you need is what we'd both rather be doing. Making that easy is what I do. Now, let's make getting a job off the books easier than ever. While an old fashioned check in the mail is fine, Venmo and Zelle make things a snap. Let me know which is better for you and we'll make that happen too.
Upgraded Services and Gear!
Beginning in November 2024 we'll be offering Zillow Premier Showcase 3D Home and Interactive Floor Plans. Zillow Showcase Agents are Zillow's top producing agents, with 20% more listings than similar non-Showcase agents. Capturing photography and Zillow 3D Home (Similar to Matterport virtual tours) tours is something we're excited to be doing.
New razor sharp 360 capture equipment from Insta360 not only allows us to gather the images and data to produce the Zillow 3D and Interactive Floor Plans, but dramatically improves the Matterport Virtual Tours we continue to make as well. (Matterport and Zillow 3D Home are similar but have important differences)
Additionally we continue to shoot with the top SONY and Canon still cameras and lenses, and always utilize professional Speed-O-Tron strobe (flash) and light modification tools to produce impeccable images of properties large and small. The Adobe suite of software is how each image is individually processed and refined.
We continue to work directly with a team, based here in the U.S., that can virtually stage spaces that are indistinguishable from 'real' staging. And we can do it at prices that even "AI" can't compete with.
Traditional, measured 2D floor plans (requires a Matterport or Zillow 3D Home capture) are no problem, and should we need drone still or video this can be arranged using insured and FCC licensed pilots
The year is wrapping up, but we're just getting started.
